Get Started with Strength: Intro to Strength Workshop for Active Agers

Curious about strength training but not sure where to start? Our Intro to Strength Workshop is thoughtfully designed for active agers who want to stay strong, mobile, and confident.
This one-hour session is a well-rounded introduction to the type of strength training we offer. You’ll get a taste of everything you’ll experience in our full program, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
During the session, we’ll explore:
Squats, lunges, and deadlifts for everyday strength
Kettlebell movements for functional power
Hip exercises
Light cardio and conditioning
Balance exercises to support stability and prevent falls
Standing core and upper-body exercises for posture and confidence
All movements are adaptable — safety and proper form come first, and you can progress at your own pace.

Bring your own weights or use ours! This session is perfect for beginners or anyone returning to strength training. Bring your questions and curiosity — we’re here to support you.
